My story

How this blog started

I started Momma Squatch because I was tired of blogs that made everything look perfect. The perfectly organized homeschool room. The perfectly curated product shelf. The perfectly managed differently abled life. None of that was my life — and I suspected it wasn't yours either.

My life looks more like: a Kindle on the nightstand — lightweight, convenient, and always loaded with thrillers, a homeschool day that went sideways by 10am, a heated blanket in my chair, and a Red Bull I probably shouldn't have but absolutely needed. And honestly? I love it.

This blog is for the moms who are doing their best with the energy they have. Whether that's a lot of energy or very little. Whether your homeschool is structured or not. Whether you're deep in a thriller or just need a place that gets it.
